Blue Jean Baby

Check out Mister No in his blue jeans and t-shirt. Daddy was home today, and I just knew he would love seeing Noah dressed just like a big boy. Doesn't he look all grown up! Can you read his tee? It says "little man of the house." Hee. Hee.

Party at Our House

This morning I hosted a baby playgroup for the little ones in my mom's group. Here is Noah waiting for all the kiddos to arrive. We pulled out all our best toys. Ready for loads of fun. Notice the grouchy expression on his face. He was working a short morning nap, so he was not in the greatest mood going our playdate.

He definitely made a little c.b.y. (comeback of the year). To say that he had fun would be the understatement of the century. He had a blast and loved having a house full of people. I wouldn't exactly say he loved sharing his toys, but he did love being reminded how much he loves some of them. It just happened to be the ones the other babies loved as well. Here is a picture of him playing with some other babies. From looking at this picture you would think that Noah was showing the other babies how to run the obstacle course. However, the other babies were already playing on it, and when Noah saw them his hurriedly crawled over, cut in line, and decided to show off. They didn't seem to mind.

Noah hanging onto Mr. Fred's every word. I am in a total equal opportunity mom's group. Stay at home dad's are welcome too!

Here is a picture of our buddy Aidan from down the street. Isn't he a cutie! He is one month older than Noah. He has seven teeth and is about to start walking any day now.

What a fun time! It took a little while for Noah to wind down after all the excitement of our morning, but he has finally gone down for an extended nap. Whew!

Wolf Wolf and the Many Faces of Noah

I know I've said it before. I've been saying it for about 6 months. But this time, I really, truly, almost positively think... I see teeth ready to come out. If that is the case, I hope they pop out real soon, and I also hope that it turns out that this is the reason for Mister No's most recent grouchiness and bout of night waking. Momma is very sleepy.

Noah has also increased his activity during the day, and wow! Are things moving fast in the house? In just a few short weeks, Noah's gone from army crawling to hands and knees big boy crawling. And, he has progressed from pulling up in his crib to um... pulling up on everything! He's finally making good use of his Christmas present from Santa and Dean loves to set up mini obstacle courses for him. He goes up one side and down the other, and then he turns around so proud... laughing. Of course, we are cheering him on with some "yays!" and "woo hoos." He loves it. I am so loving his little personality coming out.

Happy Noah at playtime. "Momma thanks for buying me so many toys. I love them all!"

Angry Noah on the move. "Hey Momma, slow down. This crawling thing is still new."

Serious Noah at the park. "Excuse me Momma, I don't have time for your picture taking. I am very busy checking things out. "

Disgusted Noah at dinnertime. "Gross, Momma. I do not like chicken and stars. "

Silly Noah at bath time. "Hey Momma, don't you love my crazy 'do! Bath time with Daddy is so much fun!"

Sneaky Noah at bedtime. "Shhh... Momma will never find me here. "

Easter Egg Hunt

Today Noah went to his very first Easter egg hunt. If the fact that he is workimg a 2 plus hour nap is any indication, he had a blast. Here are a couple of cute shots from today.

Basket in hand, Noah is so ready to get this hunt started.

See what I mean! Let's get this party started.

Back off! These eggs are mine!

All the babies hunting for eggs in the baby pool.

Woo hoo! This is awesome!

Say Cheese!

With all the pictures I take, I am sure some days Noah must feel like he is being stalked by the paparazzi. I think he is starting to catch on that he is supposed to do something when I point my camera in his face. This is what I got yesterday when I said, "say cheese!" Adorable!

Whew... What a Week!

This week has been C-R-A-Z-Y! We are putting our house on the market the weekend after Easter, so contractors have been in and out for the past two weeks. This week they were finishing up plus our real estate agent sent someone over to stage the house. If you don't know what staging is or if you are thinking about having it done at your house, prepare yourself people! What a whirlwind day! It really makes a difference in our house, but it took a lot of work. Not to mention the decorator that came over was a little on the disorganized side. She flitted from room to room and barely finished (or didn't finish) one project before moving to something else. A commendation is in order for my mother, who is the most organized person on the planet, and who definitely likes things organized her way. She let the decorator do and was a huge help with the whole process. Thanks Mom! Mama Ellen also deserves her fair share of praise since she helped out so much with Noah. She even did a little packing herself. Not to mention, she got kicked out of her bed on the last night since the decorator decided that the guest bedroom had to be empty. Sorry Mama! So, with one trip to storage, two empty closets, twelve pieces of furniture crammed in the garage, about thirty of my favorite framed pictures packed away (sniff) and a gazillion boxes of stuff stacked in our study to sort, pack, throw and/or move, we are well on our way to getting this house S-O-L-D! Here is the end result of a few rooms.

We Love Our Boy Cousins

Did I mention that we also love our boy cousins? There are so many reasons why, but this weekend we love them because...

We love them because they are so talented. Blake played an Oompa Loompa in a production of Willa Wonka this weekend, and he was awesome! He also played the roll of Grandpa George, and he had the whole audience laughing out loud "We're playing gin?" Ha! I guess you had to be there. We are so proud of you Blake. You did great!

We love them because they are so fun. Noah had so much fun playing with Zachary at Katie B.'s birthday party on Saturday. ** Happy Birthday Katie!**

Noah tells Zachary a secret.

Zachary and Noah share some laughs.

Awwhhh. Sweet kisses from Zack.

We love them because they are so sweet. Zachary, Seth and I took Noah on a little stroll this afternoon. Seth did such a great job pushing. What a sweet cousin!

Here is a picture of all the cousins together. What an awesome bunch of buddies! We love you guys!

I Couldn't Resist

Football season is over, Noah is growing out of his clothes so quickly these days, and coupled with the Easter outfit I purchased, this outfit was way to expensive... but seriously, how could I resist. It is number 18 for goodness sake, and you know I love me some Peyton! Thanks Daddy for indulging me!

Noah's New Trick

This is how I found Noah today after his morning nap. Does this face look like a boy up to no good or what? Um... hello. It was just under two weeks ago that Noah was just starting to scoot, and now, he is pulling himself up to a standing position! What?!? Things are progressively very quickly in this household. His scoot has even started to turn into a crawl. He still doesn't go very far or very fast, but he is definitely on the move. And, I am thinking it won't be long until I am chasing him around. He can also move himself from his belly back to a sitting position. I am so proud of our little boy! And, the best part... our sleep schedule is definitely on the upswing. Whew.

Hippity Hoppity... Easter's on its Way

Today, Noah went walking in a field of clover, and look who he ran into... the Easter Bunny. The field was actually a green screen at the mall, but same difference to Noah. He loved the Easter Bunny. It was so hard to choose just one picture. He was smiling in them all. So much fun.
